OUR FOUNDER & FIRM HISTORY

McCash Financial Group has grown and evolved over the years, but the philosophy behind the firm has remained remarkably consistent: understand the person first, then build the financial strategy around what matters to them.

Founder and President Geoffrey S. McCash has spent nearly three decades in the financial services industry. His securities registration history dates to 1997, and in 2000 he began what would become a long-standing affiliation with Woodbury Financial Services, the predecessor organization to today's Osaic Wealth, Inc. As Geoff's practice developed, his work expanded beyond investments to incorporate retirement income planning, insurance protection and broader financial strategies for individuals, families and business owners. Throughout that growth, the foundation of the practice remained personal relationships, accessibility, integrity and long-term trust.

In 2007, Geoff became a founding partner of Marino & McCash, LLC, establishing the foundation of the practice that would eventually become McCash Financial Group. Over the following 15 years, the practice continued to grow alongside the individuals, families and businesses it served. As those relationships matured, Geoff began thinking more deliberately about the long-term future of the practice - how to continue growing while ensuring clients would have consistency, additional resources and continuity for the years and generations ahead.

That long-term vision became especially important in 2022, when Christopher A. Neece joined the organization. Chris brought more than two decades of financial-services experience, including experience across investments, insurance, retirement planning and the broader financial-services industry. His addition was intended to be more than simply bringing another advisor into the practice. Geoff wanted an experienced professional who could work alongside him, develop meaningful relationships with existing clients, expand the firm's capabilities and help build an organization positioned to serve clients well into the future.

The timing coincided with another important evolution of the business. In 2022, the practice became McCash Financial Group, creating a platform designed not only to preserve what Geoff had built, but also to support continued growth. Bringing Chris into the organization represented an intentional step toward developing a broader, team-based practice with the experience, leadership and infrastructure necessary to serve clients beyond any one individual advisor.

Since joining the firm, Chris has increasingly worked alongside Geoff in client relationships while also helping lead initiatives involving comprehensive financial planning, technology, business development and the overall evolution of the practice. This collaborative approach combines Geoff's decades of experience and long-standing client relationships with Chris's industry experience and focus on the firm's next stage of growth.

In 2024, the firm's long-standing broker-dealer relationship evolved as Woodbury Financial Services transitioned to Osaic Wealth, Inc. While names, technology and the financial-services industry itself have changed over the years, the principles behind the practice have remained consistent. McCash Financial Group continues to focus on helping clients connect the different parts of their financial lives - including financial planning, wealth management, retirement and income planning, insurance and risk management, and strategies for businesses and retirement plans - rather than treating financial decisions in isolation.

Today, McCash Financial Group is continuing its evolution from a founder-led practice into a broader wealth-management and financial-planning firm. Geoff and Chris work together with the firm's team to provide clients with continuity while expanding the planning capabilities, technology and resources available to the individuals, families and businesses the firm serves. The objective is not to change the character of the practice Geoff built, but to strengthen it and create an organization capable of carrying those relationships and values forward.

The McCash name therefore represents more than the firm's founder. It reflects the principles on which the practice was built: personal relationships, independent guidance, long-term thinking and a commitment to being there as clients' lives, families, businesses and priorities change.

Geoff built the foundation. The next chapter is about building on it - preserving the relationships and values that have defined McCash Financial Group while creating a firm designed to serve clients and their families for generations to come.
